Jerry Walsh started with The Arc in 1955 as Executive Director of the Minneapolis Association for Retarded Children. As a leader of The Arc in Minnesota, he was instrumental in developing a strong advocacy organization for persons with developmental disabilities and their families. He also was a catalyst for change. Because of Jerry’s early and ongoing leadership, individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have dramatically better lives.
