Person-Centered Positive Behavior Support

Thank you for your interest in the Minnesota Person Centered Positive Behavior Supports Intensive Training.

We are now accepting applications for the next Minnesota Person Centered Positive Behavior Supports Intensive training cohort that is scheduled to begin September 2014.

Person-Centered Positive Behavior Support is an intensive training for behavior analysts, psychologists, social workers and other professionals who have a unique commitment to serving people who have “challenging reputations,” or said another way, those people whose behavior stretch and challenge our own skills and creativity the most.

Participants in the training will build competency in using person-centered thinking practices as a framework for functional assessment, function-based positive behavior supports, and data-based decision-making.

Information about the application process including training pre-requisites are detailed in the links below. To be considered for the next training cohort, interested individuals are asked to follow the directions outlined in these documents. It is recommended that documents be reviewed in the order listed below.
